his is a rare 2 disc show where both discs featured great wrestling. The 6 man matches were exciting. The Morishima vs Kanemaru match featured a believable clash in style and tactics. The surprise of Disc 1 was Suzuki vs M. Yone. In most scenarios, Yone is good for taking his lumps in a tag match but, not much else. Here he was allowed to revert to BattlArts Yone against the legend Minoru Suzuki...which was great stuff. Very stiff and grapple oriented... I highly recommend it.
Disc 2 featured the main events. KENTA vs SUWA lived up to expectations but, I didn't think it was a MOTY contender. It was a great match with a different feel (much like Kobashi vs Ogawa '03) but didn't kick into overdrive at the end like I would have liked. Still the match & finish are great just not an all-time classic.
Kobashi & Take vs Akiyama & Tenryu was the dream match I was looking for. Again, its not an all time classic but, a great match where 2000s Take brings his Holy Demon Army boots out.
The GHC title match is highly recommended as well. I'm a bigger Rikio fan than most. He certainly had the toughness and size to be a champ. A pretty good outing for Misawa here as well. A nice closer to a great show.
All in all a great set to get for fans of 2000s NOAH.
